    President

    Nick was born and raised in Rankin Borough, in the east suburbs of Pittsburgh. He graduated General Braddock HS in 1973. In 1974 he started working at US Steel, Homestead works, participating in their apprenticeship course. While working full time at US Steel Nick attended Dean Technical Institute and received an Associates Degree in Electrical Technology. After the demise of US Steel in 1984 Nick worked in Virginia Beach as an electrician for Arc Electric Company wiring Farm Fresh Supermarkets, the largest supermarkets on the east coast at that time. After working for various electricians Nick partnered with John Hejnosz to form Nicholas Electric Company Inc. Nick has over thirty years of experience in the electrical field working with residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Nick currently is the mayor of Rankin Borough and will begin another four year term in January 2014. Nick was born and raised in Rankin Borough, in the east suburbs of Pittsburgh.     John was born in Braddock, PA and was raised in North Braddock. He graduated from Scott High School in 1970. John served two years in the Army, where he was stationed in Germany. Upon discharge, he worked in the Steel fabrication industry for several years before being laid off when U.S. Steel downsized. He went to Penn Technical Institute and received an associate's degree in Electronic Technology. After gaining experience, John partnered with Nick Glova to form Nicholas Electric Co. Inc. John has over twenty-five years of experience in the electrical field. He is enthusiastic hockey fan and enjoys spending his free time with his family.

    Lead Supervisor / Project Manager

    John graduated from Taylor Alderdice in 1995. He attended Dean Technical Institute and received an Associates Degree in electrical technology in 1996. John also worked as an electrician with his father the late, John, G. Bird Jr. in the Greenfield and surrounding areas. John started working with Nicholas Electric in 1998 and was quickly recognized for his strong work ethic and his broad knowledge of electrical applications and wiring methods. He has a beautiful wife, Lisa Bird, and two children. He loves spending time with his family and he is a sports fanatic.
